Hyperconverged Infrastructure Solutions (HCI)

Hyperconverged Infrastructure Solutions bring together the power of autonomous infrastructure and help you transition from legacy operations to cloud-based outcomes. HCI is a single, easy-to-use hyper-converged system that combines software and hardware, creating and extending a private cloud or hybrid environment in your local data center.

The Software-Defined Storage (SDS) stack eliminates the need for proprietary storage hardware, significantly reducing costs, as dedicated storage hardware is no longer required. The storage is controlled at the OS or Hypervisor layer with the help of virtual storage controllers. These virtual controllers run on every node within the cluster, ensuring unified storage management, better resiliency, and failover capabilities.

HCI combines datacenter server hardware with direct-attached storage (HDDs, SSDs, NVMe) using virtualization. The virtualized resources form a single pool that can be allocated as needed using relevant software.

HCI offers an innovative architecture that reduces TCO by at least 70%, simplifies operations, and enhances network security by converging compute, storage, networking, and security on a single software stack.

Hyperconvergence Features & Benefits

    Reliability
  • The multinode architecture of an HCI platform ensures a highly stable and user-friendly system.
  • An HCI platform comes with fault tolerance and built-in disaster recovery. If one node fails, services and applications will switch to another node in the cluster.
    High Performance
  • Even when running multiple types of applications, an HCI platform offers capabilities that can enhance workload performance.
    Simplified Management.
  • HCI solutions typically offer a user-friendly interface to manage workloads at the VM/application level, making it easier for staff to handle, especially without a large team of dedicated system administrators or infrastructure engineers.
    Simplified Deployments
  • One of the main advantages of HCI solutions is that they streamline the deployment of services. With a single, virtualized network, IT administrators don't have to spend time worrying about ensuring compatibility between products because they'll be working with a single vendor for all the necessary tools. The preconfigured components eliminate the time and energy needed to procure, integrate, and implement traditional infrastructure.
    Cost efficiency:
  • The implementation of hyperconvergence in any IT department can bring about cost savings by reducing resource wastage and increasing cost effectiveness. Additionally, the recurring costs of supporting a hyperconverged data center tend to be lower, as the business invests less in the purchase, maintenance, and support of equipment.
